Advisory Group on Community Action
The Advisory Group on Community Action (AGCA) is a standing group under National Rural Health Mission mandated to spearhead the community related initiatives under NRHM. The group comprises of eminent public health professionals associated with major NGOs and meets regularly to handhold activities relating to community action.
Population Foundation of India (PFI) is the Secretariat for the AGCA. The PFI office is located at:

The outlines of Community Monitoring process provided within the Framework of Implementation have been developed and elaborated upon by the Advisory Group on Community Action.
The first phase of the Community Monitoring process is being implemented under the overall supervision of the specially constituted Technical Advisory Group (TAG) of the Advisory Group on Community Action in consultation with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
